Elysa Bucci
Investigator
In February 2019, Elysa began investigating Sexual and Interpersonal Misconduct cases at Baylor University. Since then, her role has expanded to include Civil Rights cases with the Equity, Civil Rights, and Title IX Office. Prior to joining the Baylor community, she was an Investigator with the Office of Equity and Compliance and an Associate Director with the Office of Community Life at Liberty University. As an Investigator with the Office of Equity and Compliance, Elysa investigated allegations of discrimination and harassment for all the institution’s protected classes under the Discrimination, Harassment, and Sexual Misconduct Policy. As an Associate Director for Community Life, Elysa investigated alleged violations of the Student Code of Conduct. In this role, she also served as a member of the hearing panel, facilitated Restorative Conferences, and developed and managed the office’s educational program concerning decision making. Elysa has a Bachelor of Arts in Student Ministries from Geneva College and has earned credits towards a Master of Education in Student Affairs from Regent University.
