Andrea Gutierrez
Case Coordinator
Andrea joined Baylor as a Case Coordinator in the Equity, Civil Rights, and Title IX office in August of 2022. As a Case Coordinator, Andrea is responsible for responding to reports submitted under both the Civil Rights and Sexual and Interpersonal Misconduct policy, reaching out to parties, conducting, and facilitating intakes, and coordinating supports and resource requests.
Prior to returning to the Baylor family as a staff member, Andrea served in a public education setting for 11 years, working as an elementary school teacher for seven years, serving as a Dyslexia Specialists for three years, and then as an Instructional Specialist for one year.
Andrea earned an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice from McLennan Community College, a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a Master of Science in Education Leadership with Principal Certification from Baylor University.
