Andrea Gutierrez

Andrea joined the Baylor University Office of Equity, Civil Rights, and Title IX in August 2022 as a Case Coordinator. In that role, she responded to reports under both the Civil Rights Policy and the Sexual and Interpersonal Misconduct Policy, conducted and facilitated intake meetings, communicated with involved parties, and coordinated supportive measures and resource requests.
Andrea now serves as an Investigator whose primary role is to conduct prompt, thorough, and impartial investigations into alleged violations of the Sexual and Interpersonal Misconduct Policy and Civil Rights Policy. In this role, she collects evidence, interviews parties and witnesses, and prepares investigative reports summarizing relevant evidence.
Andrea holds an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice from McLennan Community College, a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from University of Texas at Arlington, and a Master of Science in Education Leadership with Principal Certification from Baylor University.
