Equity, Civil Rights, and Title IX
The mission of Baylor Equity, Civil Rights, and Title IX is to engage in issues of harassment and discrimination with care and integrity to actively shape a conscientious community where members are valued, empowered and recognized.
We handle matters concerning equal opportunity, affirmative action, and unlawful harassment or discrimination on the basis of protected characteristics. We also offer education, training, support, and resources related to these issues.
Protected Characteristics include race, color, disability, national origin, ancestry, sex, age (over 40), citizenship, genetic information or the refusal to submit to a genetic test, past, current, or prospective service in the uniformed services, or any other characteristics protected under applicable federal, Texas, or local law.
We handle matters concerning sexual and interpersonal misconduct including sexual harassment, sexual assault, domestic or dating violence, and stalking. We also offer education, training, support, and resources related to these issues.
