At Baylor University, we value a community rooted in appreciation, reflection, curiosity, and humility. To nurture these values, we offer the "Courageous Conversations" training program to all faculty, staff, and students. This annual initiative encourages participants to engage deeply with one another, fostering a culture of mutual respect and understanding.

Program Highlights:

  • Purpose: "Courageous Conversations" is designed to cultivate a caring community where individuals listen actively, reflect thoughtfully, and approach differences with curiosity and humility. By embracing these principles, we strive to embody the teachings of Christ, who exemplified servant leadership and compassion.
  • Format: The training combines engaging videos, thought-provoking readings, and interactive quizzes. These elements invite participants to reflect on their own perspectives and appreciate the unique experiences of others, aligning with the biblical call to "honor one another above yourselves."

By engaging in "Courageous Conversations," we follow the example set by Jesus, who taught us to serve others with humility and love. This program invites each of us to contribute to a community where every voice is heard, valued, and respected.
